But Qwill finds controversy - one side of the valley is a haven for the descendants of Prohibition Moonshiners, the other home to developers eager to turn the Potatoes into a giant tourist trap. Koko, Yum Yum and Qwill sniff out treachery amidst the pines...

I actually listened to the audio version of this novel, I read the paperback about 5 years ago. I enjoyed the book the first time round, however it took a bit of getting used the second time around ~ the narrators' cat noises were a bit weird, I'm not sure he knows what sounds a cat makes ~ that aside the book is an entertaining read/listen, a light detective novel with a twist, as it has two Siamese, one as the comic relief and one as the brains of the operation.
Ms. Braun writes a fun, fast paced novel, purrfect for a cold rainy afternoon by the fire.
